Can it invent a policy I do not have?
No. It answers only from the pages and notes you give it. Ask it something they do not cover and it says so and points the customer to you, rather than guessing at what shops usually do. It also cannot see your orders, so it will never claim something has shipped or been refunded.
What do I have to do to set it up?
Give it your sitemap or the addresses of your shipping, returns and FAQ pages, and paste one line into your site. It reads the pages itself. Most shops are done in a few minutes.
Which platforms does it work on?
Anywhere you can paste a line of HTML — Shopify, WordPress, WooCommerce, Squarespace, Wix, BigCommerce, Webflow or a hand-built site. There is nothing to install and no app to approve.
What does it cost?
A 3-day free trial with no card, then $49 a month for 1,000 replies, $149 for 5,000 and $449 for 20,000. New monthly plans get 30% off their first 3 months, and paying yearly gets two months free. Does the trial end?
Yes. It runs for 3 days with every Growth feature and 100 replies, and no card is taken, so nothing is charged when it ends — the assistant simply pauses until you choose a plan.
What happens if I run out of replies?
Your visitors are offered the lead form instead of an answer, so the question still reaches you with a way to reply. We tell you before it happens, and you can move up a plan at any time.
What happens when it does not know something?
It says so and suggests contacting you, and the question is flagged in your dashboard. Those flagged questions are the useful half of the product: each one is a gap in what you have written down.
